Zachary Levi has shared an official poster for the upcoming DC Universe movie Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
With Shazam! Fury of the Gods now completed, Zachary Levi took to his official Twitter page to offer fans a fresh look at his titular hero. The actor shared a poster for the highly-anticipated movie, showing himself in full costume as Shazam. You can check out the poster below.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods wrapped filming in August 2021 and was originally set to hit theaters this Christmas before being delayed to 2023 alongside The Flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The three films, along with Blue Beetle, are the final DC Universe projects that were overseen by Walter Hamada, the former president of DC Films.
Earlier this month, Warner Bros. Discovery announced that Walter Hamada is being replaced by James Gunn and Peter Safran, with the duo overseeing DC’s film, television and animation efforts under a new banner known as DC Studios. Gunn and Safran started their jobs on November 1st.
Directed by David F. Sandberg from a script written by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan, Shazam! Fury of the Gods stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, D.J. Cotrona, Grace Caroline Currey, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Marta Millans, Cooper Andrews, Djimon Hounsou, Rachel Zegler, Lucy Liu, and Helen Mirren.
