The GCAC Rooftop Bar has been open almost all summer. Yet another spot for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) to mix things up with Genoa City men that are taken on Y&R.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Chance Chancellor (Connon Floyd), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), & Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) have all gotten one-on-one time with Chelsea Lawson.
Chelsea Lawson is still unemployed, & now she has another place to network. Will she end up with a new job opportunity, or be involved in a crime of passion?
The GCAC Rooftop Bar to Close for the Season, Chelsea to Set Up Shop at Society
Autumn is upon the residents of Genoa City. Before we know it, the pool & bar on the Genoa City Rooftop Bar will be closed for the season. When the autumn weather doesn’t suit Chelsea Lawson, she’s sure to set up shop at Society.
This is unless the main level of the Genoa City Athletic Club opens up. We know Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is still taking up temporary residence at the GCAC. Why not open up the main floor lounge so the Genoa City elite can run into one another to drive more drama?
Who is Running the Genoa City Athletic Club Anyway?
Well, it’s not Lily Winters or Chancellor Winters. They recently acquired the Grand Phoenix from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in a transaction that makes absolutely no sense.
How long will Phyllis really go on living at the Grand Phoenix? She will not be able to hold back walking thru the lobby & offering feedback on how to better run the hotel that she put her heart into. It’s not going to be tolerated. Phyllis will be out & may need to take up temporary residence herself at the GCAC.
Perhaps Phyllis will end up being neighbors with her new colleague Diane Jenkins at the Genoa City Athletic Club. Maybe Phyllis will be motivated to buy the GCAC to rid of Diane. Phyllis did pay Nick Newman back for the loan he provided to acquire the Grand Phoenix. Could the Newman lending tree be open again for Phyllis?
