Netflix has revealed the final cast members for the upcoming live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, including Star Trek icon George Takei as Koh.
Netflix commissioned a live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series in 2018 and the project has recently entered production. The main cast members were confirmed last August by Netflix, with further casting announcements following in subsequent months.
The streamer has now revealed the rest of the series’ impressive cast, taking to social media to announce stars such as Takei and Community‘s Danny Pudi are joining the upcoming adaptation.
As part of Netflix’s Tudum fan event, the full cast for the upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action adaptation was revealed.
The cast includes stars such as Prey‘s Amber Midthunder, who will be playing Princess Yue, Utkarsh Ambudkar as King Bumi, and Arden Cho as June. James Sie will be bringing his role from the animated series, the Cabbage Merchant, into the live-action adaptation.

The full announcement, found on Netflix’s Tudum website, also reveals that Altered Carbon star Hiro Kanagawa will be appearing as Fire Lord Sozin. The newly announced cast members join Gordon Comier as Avatar Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka and Dallas Liu as Zuko.
