King Charles III has named Prince William and Duchess Catherine the new Prince and Princess of Wales.
The announcement was made during his first speech since the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. In his address to the nation, and the world, King Charles said he was proud to give the title to his heir and his daughter-in-law:
“With Catherine beside him, our new Prince and Princess of Wales will, I know, continue to inspire and lead our national conversations, helping to bring the marginal to the centre ground where vital help can be given.”

And that’s not the only title they’ll receive either. They are also officially known as the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall.
