The Family With (3) Last Names: Abbott, Newman, & Locke
Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), Harrison Locke, & Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) could not be cuter or in love. Everything with this family is butterflies & roses when they are together, but for how long?
How has it not crossed Kyle’s mind that the woman he slept with that gave birth to Harrison would never come back to regain custody of her child? Especially since Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) was tragically killed.
It’s clear that Harrison’s mother coming back for him has not crossed Summer’s mind either. Since Genoa City’s newest family temporarily settled in Milan, Summer has put on to be mother-of-the-year.
Genoa City’s Newest Family Has Their Minds in the Clouds on Y&R
Summer & Kyle have not even considered that Harrison’s mother Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) could be out of jail for the fraudulent business dealings she committed not long after arriving in Genoa City. After all, it’s a fact, people in GC have committed much worse & have been out much sooner than Tara Locke.
Flashback… Tara Locke entered the Young & the Restless & Genoa City to warn Kyle of her then-husband Ashland Locke.
It turns out that Tara & Kyle had an affair in New York when Kyle & Summer were “off again, again.” The result of their affair was Harrison Locke.
Tara Locke never had plans to leave her son behind, but she was getting creative to begin a relationship with Kyle after a paternity test confirmed Kyle is Harrison’s father & Ashland went ballistic.
Roses & Butterflies are Temporary to All on The Young & the Restless
In true soap opera form, roses & butterflies are temporary to all. There is no way that the family with 3 last names will continue to be on Cloud 9 for much longer.
Summer & Kyle do seem as loyal as they have ever been to one another & either of them cheating on the other is almost out of the question.
The demise of their new-found instant family will likely be caused by Harrison Locke’s biological mother that raised him until she got thrown in the clink returning for her son that is rightfully hers.
