DWTS alum performs Irish jig

Sam Champion celebrated St. Patrick’s Day during Friday’s broadcast of GMA. He performed an Irish jig as he reported the weather. The Dancing with the Stars alum made good use of the skills he learned on the Disney Plus series. Sam responded to a fan who shared a clip of the live GMA broadcast.

“GMA used my Palm Springs [sic] Looks like Kauai photo on the air this morning. Here’s the video. Thanks,” the user tweeted.

In the footage, George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts watched Sam Champion do the Irish jig. He was clearly in the holiday spirit. Sam wore a navy blue suit with a white T-shirt underneath. During his forecast, he also shared a shot of the California palm trees.

Sam Champion responded: “Thanks, Chris! It was a beautiful byproduct of all that tough weather.” Fans took to the comment section to react. Most of them were in awe over his Irish jig. One fan wrote: “Great seeing on @GMA super Irish dancing!” The user added the four-leaf clover, hug, and purple heart emojis.

Sam responded with the crying and laughing emoji. The weatherman has been reliving his DWTS heyday. In September 2022, Sam shocked fans when he competed in the dancing competition series. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it all the way through to the end.

Also, on Friday, Sam shared a throwback clip of him talking about his Dancing with the Stars debut on Good Morning America. The platinum-blonde ABC personality wore a black shirt that featured rhinestones. The five-second clip read: “Flashback Friday.”

Fans concerned about Sam Champion

Fans have also expressed their concern about Sam Champion. Some of them took to Twitter to ask him about his knees. He admitted that he’s been having mobility issues lately. One user asked: “How is your knee?”

Unfortunately, Sam didn’t update the fan on his knee. Earlier this week, he announced that he was getting a knee scan. Sam shared a clip on his Instagram feed. He informed fans that he injured his knee and needed a doctor to look at it.
